At Online, we support our partners in building strong and sustainable digital teams. For one of our partners — a Swiss-based company operating in the electronics manufacturing sector — we are currently supporting the recruitment process for an IT System Engineer.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on IT infrastructure environment, where you will support, maintain and further develop the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the internal IT team and employees across the organization and contribute to the reliability, security and continuous improvement of the company’s IT environment.

Your Impact
You support and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, file servers and backup systems.
You monitor, analyze and optimize the network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, WLAN and VLAN.
You provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to employees and help resolve day-to-day technical issues.
You create and maintain technical documentation, support processes and user instructions independently.
You implement IT security policies, including patch management, antivirus/EDR and user rights management.
You participate in IT infrastructure projects.
You report to the Head of IT.
Your Talent
You have completed relevant education or professional training in IT, Systems Engineering or a comparable field, combined with at least 3–5 years of professional experience.
You have in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, directory services, networks and Hyper-V virtualization.
You have knowledge of network environments, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN and VPN, as well as backup systems.
You understand device configurations in production environments.
You work independently, reliably and in a structured way.
You communicate confidently in English.
