This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern cloud and AI-driven engineering environment, where you will develop and improve cloud, automation and AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate closely with the CIO, Domain Engineers and DevOps specialists, and contribute to building a reliable, secure and increasingly autonomous technology environment.

Your Impact

• You design, manage and continuously improve Google Cloud Platform environments, ensuring reliability, scalability and high availability of production systems.

• You help shape and evolve the engineering harness around AI agents, cloud infrastructure and operational workflows, enabling increasingly autonomous operations at enterprise scale.

• You develop and optimize CI/CD and GitOps deployment pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins to support reliable and efficient software delivery.

• You integrate LLMs and AI-powered tooling into cloud and operational workflows, with particular attention to authentication, authorization and secure access.

• You automate infrastructure and operational processes using Python and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

• You monitor production environments, analyze incidents and logs, perform root cause analysis and implement solutions that reduce recurring manual work.

• You work closely with the CIO, Domain Engineers and DevOps specialists, taking ownership of improvements and independently identifying areas where you can contribute value.

Your Talent

• You have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and managing cloud-based production environments.

• You bring practical experience or a strong technical background in AI/LLM integrations, agentic systems or AI-powered automation.

• You have solid Python skills and are comfortable using code to automate and improve infrastructure and operational processes; Go is a plus.

• You have experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps, and are familiar with modern deployment and automation tooling such as Jenkins.

• You bring experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Pulumi.

• You understand authentication, authorization, entitlements and cloud security, including secure communication concepts such as TLS, mTLS and certificates.

• You are familiar with monitoring and observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana and log analysis, and ideally have experience with PostgreSQL.

• You are comfortable working across different technologies and are interested in continuously exploring new approaches, particularly in AI and agentic engineering.

• You think independently, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and are comfortable taking ownership without waiting for detailed instructions.

• You communicate confidently in English; German is a plus.

• Experience in fintech, financial services or another regulated environment is a plus.
